In her point of view,” Family Physicians play a key role in the Canadian healthcare system as they provide the first contact access to appropriate primary care.,” says Dr. Khazen, “My experience of growing up and working in two multicultural countries (Iran and Canada) and living in five different countries has helped me to have a good understanding and appreciation of diversity, and a passion for working in multicultural communities.”

She is happily married and raising her young daughter, Ayla.  In her leisure time, she enjoys jogging, listening to folk and classical music, watching independent movies, and cooking.
