Pre-employment Security Checks
The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority strives to provide quality service to all clients. In recognition of this fact, an employee who makes direct contact with clients is in a position of public trust. Interlake-Eastern RHA makes every effort to ensure the suitability of those employed to provide services. A pre-employment security check is conducted as part of the recruitment and selection process for all Interlake-Eastern RHA positions.
 
The pre-employment security check includes:
1. Criminal Records Check
2. Vulnerable Sector Check 
3. Child Abuse Registry Self Check 
4. Adult Abuse Registry Self Check 
 
The applicant is responsible for obtaining pre-employment security checks at his/her own cost.
 
All candidates applying for positions are advised that pre-employment security checks are a condition of employment.
