EAP is a confidential program provides short term, supportive counseling for you and your family. Program access is based on voluntary, self-referral. Areas of personal counselling include:
- Family/Parenting
- Marital/Relationship
- Emotional/Behavioral
- Addictions, including drug, alcohol and gambling
- Anxiety and Depression
- Occupational Stress/Adjustment
- Critical Incident/Trauma
- Conflict Resolution
- Domestic Violence/Abuse
- Psychological problems that cause or result from disability

Incentives to work in our region
Interlake-Eastern RHA offers incentives to health care workers, support and administrative staff who choose to work in our part of Manitoba. These incentives may include:
- Discounts with wide variety of local retailers and service providers
- Long service recognition
- Nurse Referral program: financial incentive for publicly funded nurses who refer a returning agency nurse
Nursing retention fund ( Look at PMH)
- Returning Nurse program: financial incentive for returning nurses
- Tuition Rebate: tuition incentive for nurses holding full time positions
- Eligible Retiree program: financial incentive for retired nurses to return in a coaching, mentoring, or support role for newer nurses
