Public Health
Across the province, public health officials work together to protect the health of Manitobans in many ways such as monitoring different diseases and educating Manitobans on ways to protect their health.
Public health serves the needs of individuals and families by providing information, guidance and support on topics such as pre- and post-natal care, infant nutrition, healthy child development, immunizations, sexually transmitted diseases and healthy living and disease prevention. (See the navigation to your left for more information on these public health activities.)
Public Health Programs and supports can be accessed by contacting your local Community Health Office.
