Donations for evacuees due to wildfire
The following organizations and businesses are accepting donations to help wildfire evacuees in Manitoba. This is not an exhaustive list of all the places accepting donations. Check your local community web or social media pages for more donation drop-off locations or ways you can help.

1. Peguis First Nation – specifically looking for towels, sheets, strollers and play pens. Donations can be dropped off at Peguis Multiplex.
2. Donations can be dropped off at the Brokenhead Ojibwe First Nation EAST Resource Centre at 1 Crane Lane, in Scanterbury.
3. Red River Metis is accepting donations at 25 Ray Marius Road in the Transcona Industrial Complex in Winnipeg. They are also accepting cash donations: Emergency Response to Manitoba Wildfires – RRMM

5. Southern Chief’s Organization is collecting donations: SCO Seeking Donations to Support Our Evacuated Relatives – Southern Chiefs’ Organization Inc.
6. Winnipeg Animal Services – accepting animal supplies and food donations at 1057 Logan Ave in Winnipeg between 12 and 6pm.
7. The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs is accepting donations from Mon-Fri noon to 7 pm at the second floor of the RBC Convention Centre. Mail-in Donations to: Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs 200-275 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2B3
8. Sagkeeng First Nation is accepting donations for toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, towels, face cloths, clothing footwear. Drop off is Sagkeeng Health Centre 50017A Hwy 11
9. The Winnipeg Humane Society is working with Humane Canada and the Red Cross on a coordinated response to support families with pets displaced by the wildfires: 2025 Wildfire Response | Winnipeg Humane Society
10. Manitoba Animal Alliance – is looking for emergency fosters and is collecting donations: Manitoba Animal Alliance
11. Hidden Treasures Studio in Gimli – Accepting donations like pillows (new please), gently used or new towels, face clothes, sheets or blankets are needed, along with children’s toys.
12. Lord Selkirk School Division– All LSSD schools are collecting essentials such as, but not limited to, non-perishable food items, diapers and baby wipes, infant formula and baby food, feminine hygiene products, clothing for all ages and sizes, toiletries, blankets and towels. 13. First Nations Family Advocate Office – Donations of new or gently used items can be dropped off at the 2nd floor of the RBC Convention Centre Sunday to Friday from 12 PM to 7 PM. There is an urgent need for strollers, play pens, bassinets, diapers, Depends diapers, sandals and summer clothing. 14. Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel, 1715 Wellington Avenue, Winnipeg – is accepting donations for toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, laundry soap/dryer sheets, juice, fruit cups, fruit snacks, pudding, mini easy KD, cup-of-soup, mini cereal boxes, fruit/veggie trays for elders, sanitary napkins & baby wipes.
15. Save a Dog Network Canada, 1057 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg – is accepting dog food, also accepting emt for shipping costs to northern communities [email protected]
16. Art & Fashion, 904 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg – is accepting clothing items (gently used, all sizes) and baby items.
17. Morgan’s Warriors, 278 Helmsdale Avenue, Winnipeg – is accepting non-perishable food items (in original packaging), bottled water, toiletries & hygiene products, diapers & baby supplies, clean clothing (all ages and sizes), new socks & underwear, blankets, towels & bedding, 1st aid supplies, flashlights & batteries.
18. The Ode’imin Collective Pop-Up Kiosk & Donation Drive, 1 Forks Market Rd – is accepting board games, art supplies, craft kits, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, diapers, wipes, formula, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, menstrual products, new socks & underwear.
