Options for non-urgent health care this summer including additional clinic hours

If you or a family member require non-urgent health care services, some doctors’ offices and clinics in the region are offering extended hours care and same day appointments this weekend. Contact your local clinic for appointment information: https://www.ierha.ca/find-us

Arborg Primary Care Clinic located at 234 Gislason Dr. Arborg, MB is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call 204-376-2781 for an appointment prior to attending. This is not a walk-in clinic. It is also open Mon. to Fri., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tues., Wed. and Thurs. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Eriksdale Primary Health Care Centre in the Wellness Centre located at 35 Railway Ave. is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with same day appointments available on Saturdays. Call 204-739-2672 to make an appointment.

Grand Marais Walk-In Clinic located at Grand Marais Community Central and RV Park (36058, PTH 12) is open 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sundays as well as holidays. Call 204-754-8372 (Walk-ins welcome. Phones not monitored on weekdays) it is also open on Tuesdays. Call 204-367-2278 for a Tuesday appointment.

Winnipeg Beach Clinic located at 54-60 Main St. Unit J, Winnipeg Beach, MB is open every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from now until Sept. 5. Call 204-389-3649 to make an appointment (Walk-ins welcome.) it is also open Mon. to Fri., 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Selkirk QuickCare Clinic located at 100 Easton Drive in Selkirk, MB  is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends and most holidays. Call 204-482-4399 to make a same-day appointment. Phones answered starting at 9:30 a.m.

For minor ailments and non-life threatening concerns virtual care is available through QDoc, a free, provincially funded, online platform that connects patients to doctors by video. Visit www.qdoc.ca for more information.


Health Links – Info Santé is staffed with registered nurses and nurse practitioners who are available 24 hours a day every day of the year. Depending on patients’ described condition and community location in Manitoba, nurses can provide clinical guidance to contact a family physician or a walk-in clinic, present to an emergency department or to an urgent care centre and they can provide advice on self-care treatments at home. Call toll-free 1-888-315-9257.
