The Selkirk & Interlake Mental Health Support Centre provides community based services for adult individuals with lived experience, and individuals who may be seeking mental health support that is rooted in the foundation of Recovery.
It is a drop-in centre that provides: a lunch program, coffee house, support and referrals, work program, book store, and a relaxing atmosphere with a garden area.
Anxiety CanadaContains strategies and tools for managing anxiety across the lifespan, along with resources for educators and links to podcasts. Highlights the free, Mindshift CBT app and online self-help anxiety courses. Mindshift CBT Group Therapy is also offered at a cost.
Building Emotional Awareness and Mental Health (The BEAM Program)A free, app-based program to promote family mental health and reduce parenting stress. Intended for primary caregivers of a 2 to 5 year-old child who are 18 years or older and experiencing depression, anxiety, parenting stress, and/ or anger.
